I am Esperanzo T. C. Vance—a chronicler of histories, a bookman by my own right, and a tender of the dreams that grow in the dark. For too long, our culture has drifted into a disconnected anarchy of existence. We have forgotten how to tend the garden of togetherness.

Ergo in Space

I am the author of Ergo in Space and, as such, I am charged with keeping the chronicles of the adventures of Ergo Bookman and Timmal Tik’nal, a strange pair of adventurers, to be certain. While the pair is early in their days of gaining the recognition of the Soldarverse, their journey promises to be interesting and should be telling of their potential in promoting our brand of hope in the universe.

The Mission of Hope

I am, but a custodian of Hope and this site, bears the chronicles of the Soldarverse, a place quite far away, but not so unlike our own little corner of the universe. I mean the one that you and I frequent, dear Reader. These pages serve a singular purpose: To document the pursuit of hope in the darkest places. You do have an interest in hope, don’t you? If not, then I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place and I would thank you to move on.

However, if I have not misjudged you and you are in the right place, we are building a Vanguard of Esperanzados—a gathering of Hopefuls, who believe that togetherness is our greatest technological asset. Here, we explore the slow path of crafting our reality in a way that sustains others and preserves our sanity. We don’t chase the noise of the moment; we look for the patterns of the beauty that endures in the chaos.
